The Irish Ladies competed in the inaugural Ladies International series in Melton Mowbray. The weekend proved to be an outstanding success for the ladies as they convincingly won the team series, unbeaten in all 6 game. In the individual series Patricia Martin-Ball won the singles after a tight game with the England representative while Hannah and Rachel Cochrane won the pairs. Emma Colman’s triple were unfortunate in losing their last game to Scotland who claimed top spot. Next year’s championships will be held in Wales.
